Our Story

A California farmergal and a handyman walk into a barn… and walk out with two babies, 10 pigs, 40 sheep, 60 chickens, and 100,000 seeds into an abandoned olive grove in France. 

We have been seekers our whole lives.  Journeys into the Amazon, wilderness survival in the Northwest, scuba diving, beekeeping, cold exposure, child rearing.  The list goes on.  We have built a library of knowledge, skills, and experience; which we draw upon to operate our business. 

Emerging from our decades of seeking is an agricultural ecosystem, in the Mediterranean basin, which replenishes groundwater, creates wildlife habitat, and generates topsoil.  Closed-loop, Micro-eco-industrial processes bridge the gap between ancestral and hyper-modern lifeways.
